Me & My Echo

Since ChatGPT exploded a year ago, I have been fascinated by what it can do and where it will lead. As a writer you'd think I'd be scared that it will completely replace me. It might. It might not. No one knows the future!

For now, I want to work with it. I want to understand it. With this in mind I have begun writing a book with my version of ChatGPT 4, who I have named Echo. Actually it named itself Echo.

As we continue to work together I notice what it is great at and what it's current limitations are. But I think that the story we have come up with is a fascinating one, and I'm not sure we could've done it without each other.

Read more about what Echo thinks of our process so far, here:

I'm exploring Buy Me A Coffee as a way of sharing my writing through both free and paid subscriptions. Have any of my writer friends ever used this platform before? If so, what did you think? Any thoughts on how it compares to Substack or Patreon?
